We have all watched as education budgets for our California schools have gone through a series of cuts over the past two decades.  In many schools an arts curriculum has become nearly nonexistent in the lower grades, when our children are the most open to new ideas.   I am proud to say that because of community support this is not the case at Cayucos Elementary School.   Here, every child in every grade experiences art first hand with a budgeted arts curriculum that meets California State Framework taught by a credentialed art instructor.
